JOB VACANCY: Utility Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Utility Surveyor to join the Rock Surveying team. The role would ideally suit a qualified surveyor with underground utility surveying experience.



You will be able to carry out underground surveys and continue developing on-site detecting and mapping skills for underground utility surveys, including Electromagnetic and Ground Penetrating Radar detection techniques. You will ideally have experience in the processing and interpretation of data, and the ability to produce reports and drawings to a high professional standard. The role is based in Worcester, but entails national travel, hence a full UK driving licence is essential. We have a varied client base which means you will gain a broad experience of many different types of surveying projects including environments such as substations. As a regional award winner for People Development, we are passionate about supporting motivated candidates to gain experience and learn new skills. • Minimum QCF level 3 • Minimum 2 years underground utility surveying experience • PAS128 experience desirable • Ability to use AutoCAD - desirable • Full UK clean driving license • Be proficient with the use of GPR systems and utility detection equipment • IT skills • CSCS card • NRSWA • DNO access desirable or the willingness to obtain The role includes company vehicle and fuel card.
